Re: Yamahasggeek

Hi Saul To keep it simple I was thinking of: 1. History of the Yamaha SG 2. Yamaha SG models 3. Yamaha SG players 4. Discussion forum Would that work? Chris Hi Chris Yeah that would work fine and I can get that set up for you now however someone mentioned another route you may be interested in goin...

Donate to help the cause!

No doubt you will have noticed there is a donations link in the menu as shown in this screenshot donate.png and a progress bar along the top of the forum indicating how far we have got, although I do have to update it manually so if you do donate please bear with me. You will also find two 'Donate' ...

Re: Donations to help the cause :)

Should be showing now Derek.

Yeah, this is the sort of extensions you get with PhpBB. I'm lucky it even works! Might set something up manually.

Anyway thanks again for the donation. Definitely very much appreciated :)

Donations to help the cause :)

No doubt you will have noticed there is a donations link in the menu and a bar along the top of the forum indicating how far we have got. Normally I am not comfortable with asking people to donate as many of you already give up a lot of your time to help out on the forum. However in this case I am l...

Re: Yamahasggeek

Hi Chris If you look at the screenshot below that will give you an idea. So the 'Category' in this example is DAW Software and then under that you have 'sections' for each of the main subjects covered. I'm not sure what you want to cover apart from the SG but you could have sections for 'Yamaha SG H...

Re: New Guitars

Nice turn around on that Bill :)

I think if I had a 12 string it would probably spend most of it's time in it's case. These days guitar modelling takes care of any 12 string leanings I may have. Lot less hassle to keep in tune too :)

Re: Yamahasggeek

Buzzard Thanks Saul Also thanks that's a very kind offer and I would like to take you up on it. How do I go about setting up the section/category? I'm a bit of a technophobe Chris Hi Chris I'll set up the category, perhaps call it SG Geek or whatever you would like it called and then add the sectio...

Re: Hello everybody

Welcome aboard Pedro :)

You definitely have come to the right place! The DX7 never seems to really go out of fashion but there is a resurgence of interest since Yamaha brought out the reface DX and the Montage. Think I would take a DX7 over either of those ;)

Interesting looking guitar. Not sure if I like it or not. How much was it going for on Ebay?

Re: Yamahasggeek

Hey Chris. I can give you your own section/category here on the forum. Would save you paying for hosting and since this site is not dependent on any third party hosting it's a reliable way to keep your stuff online without worrying about hosting restrictions etc. Let me know if your interested and I...
