Re: RE: Sony mp3 Walkman (help?)

I can see why it might be confusing. Had to jump through a number of pages to get it and adverts but hey, they have to make a living right?

Have downloaded and added it below. Hope that helps?

Re: Yamaha MX 49 v2 First Imnpressions

Regarding the MIDI driver issue the MX V2 is supposed to be class compliant. No drivers needed and therefore nothing to conflict with. In any case I'm using a Mac and no Yamaha drivers were previously installed. This was a problem that was never resolved before it went back to Yamaha and one which t...

Re: Yamaha MX 49 v2 First Imnpressions

Hi Grolux and welcome to the forums :) The MX v2 works well with Cubase however you may find the lack of controls a bit of a drawback. There are no transport controls on the MX and only four rotary controllers. So it will work but I would not say it's "made for DAW" control. You would still need to ...

Re: Thanks button added

Thanks John :)

I removed all the visible indications of who had been thanked etc so now the only notification should be an email to the person thanked. I think this is a good compromise and anyway most people probably won't even notice the button is there. It doesn't exactly stand out.

Re: Yamaha Montage Essential Knowledge - Sequencer

Interesting question...welcome to the forum by the way :) Montage will of course read midi files but it has no general midi engine and as far as I am aware it does not conform to GM spec..although here your talking about a non gm file so that is probably immaterial. I would say yes you are going to ...

Re: Yamaha Montage Hands On - First Impressions

Hi Swithin and welcome to the forum :) Having owned the MOXF and having also had the Montage for a couple of months I can say that in terms of value for money the MOXF wins hands down. As Chris pointed out, the Montage is a 'performance synth' and it can do incredible things however if you blindfold...

Re: Hey Fellow Yamaha Guitar Owners

Welcome to the forum :)

That would be my choice of Revstar I think. I'm not a massive fan of the Bigsby in terms of it's functionality but I do love the way they look :)

Have rotated that photo for you.

See you in the String Section!

Screen Shot 2017-06-20 at 13.45.09.png You hover your mouse "over" the like in Facebook and that gives you the options. Over at Gearslutz they also have a like and share button and just checking their stats I can see it has done them no harm at all. Screen Shot 2017-06-20 at 13.59.13.png Ideally I ...

Re: Introduce your keyboards

Well have often considered a 3D printer myself and I will get one just as soon as we have space for it. My own use would be for custom parts and probably a load of other things I have no yet thought of. Still, given the amount of keyboards out there with broken cases I think it could soon pay for it...

Re: Introduce your keyboards

Nice job. Have you thought about investing in a 3D Printer? You could then make your own replacement case parts :)

Re: RE: Sony mp3 Walkman (help?)

Well even so, I think that was a very good buy John :) Bound to be more bargains like that out there.

AMD make extremely good cpu's these days. The A6 range is easily as good as the i5. It doesn't clock as high but it will run anything you care to throw at it.

Re: Pro's and Con's of the Roland JD-Xi

Really nice videos Tux. Thanks for putting those up. The guy makes some great music with his JD-Xi. Also went through the features all I thought.

Will definitely have to explore this synth in more detail.
