Unread postby Saul » Fri May 19, 2017 11:43 am

On Saturday, May 27 and Saturday, June 3, 2017, there will be two exciting in-store events at Yamaha Music London. These free events will be hosted by a Steinberg product specialist and are part of the #YMLLearningLabPresents series. Everyone is invited!

Learn Steinberg’s new notation program Dorico

On Saturday, May 27 join John Barron (International Dorico Product Specialist) as he demonstrates Dorico, the brand new notation software program from Steinberg. He will be covering everything from starting a new score through to some deeper notation and layout options, showing you just how flexible and easy to use the program is. Try Dorico for yourself and ask any questions you may have about it.

The demonstration and Q&A’s run from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m., followed with an ‘Up-Close Session’ from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Click here to book your place now.

Please read the latest review from the renowned Music Teacher Magazine. Alex Stevens (Editor) talks to Daniel Spreadbury (Product Manager) about Dorico and its most recent developments.

How to get started with recording and producing your music

On Saturday, June 3 please join Steinberg’s Dom Sigalas (Product Specialist) as he shows you how to get started recording and producing your own music. Dom will go through the basics; which computer (Mac/PC) is right for you, take a closer look at DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software, explain what an audio interface can do and how you set everything up. He will then explain all the main functions you’ll need when working with a DAW, such as recording, editing, producing and mixing.

The demonstration and Q&A’s run from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m., followed with an ‘Up-Close Session’ from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Click here to book your place now.
